Dr. Ainjil Bills

I am a Southern California native who has spent the majority of my life dedicated to the improving the health and welfare for animals locally in my community, across the nation and globally.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA and then went on to graduate with honors with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. After working for a short time in private practice, I moved to the non-profit sector in 2016 and found a renewed passion for veterinary medicine after accepting a position at a non-profit animal shelter in 2019. In 2020 I had the opportunity to start a shelter medicine clinical rotation for 4th year veterinary students.  Over the next 3 years I taught dozens of students from 5 different veterinary schools. In 2023, I accepted a position at a Science Museum and my teaching opportunities have expanded to include veterinary technicians and children. I spend my free time with my family and friends. Much of this time is spent going to concerts and cheering on the Dodgers!
